Marchy, March, March

Well, we just sent March a marchin'!  Forgive the cheesy puns.  I'm in a punny kind of mood.  You would be too after slightly losing your mind with an overzealous 9.5 month old who thinks he should have the skills of a 5-year-old and then takes it out on you through tantrums and nap boycotting all day.  You think I'm joking.  I'm not.  The kid's got spirit.

"I will never nap again (maniacle laugh)!"
 Onto the happenings of March.

We had our first official family pictures taken by a sweet friend, whom I met through an old client of mine.  She did a great job with our runny nosed, grumpy pants.  We love them!

Mama B and uncle Bubs came for a little visit during mama B's spring break.  We pulled out the hiking carrier and went a trekking since the weather was too good to not be enjoyed.  Mama B and Bubs did amazing considering they were hiking in an elevation tremendously higher than what their lungs are used to in sea level California.  AND Brad was the lucky one to carry the Spud.  Superstars, I tell ya.  We hiked Ferguson Canyon and the Y since mama B said she had always wanted to when she went to school at BYU, but never did.  Checked that off her bucket list! Poopers loved the carrier as he just babbled, spat and tickled Brad's neck.

The whole hike to the Y was this steep incline.

Mama B: "Selfie!"  Poopers: "Peek-a-boo!" Bubs: "That's some strong stuff!"  Kelli: "No eyelid wrinkles here!" I think we need to work on our selfie skills...

We celebrated our third anniversary!   Our trip to Zion's that same week was our gift to one another.  So, on the day of, we had a nice dinner then, just for the heck of it, put on our wedding attire, like the nerds we are.

Have we changed much in 3 years?

We put our tax return to good use outside of paying off cars and school loans by taking a little trip down to Zion's National Park.  Didn't do any of the bigger hikes like Angel's Landing or the Narrow's because we had the Spud (we will return, Zion's), but the little ones to the Emerald Pools and the Weeping Rock were still gorgeous.  It was mostly just nice to get out of the hobbit hole for a few days and enjoy the spring weather down south.

Luke got a little tired.  As we passed people it was funny to watch them take a second look once they realized there was an actual baby and not just a backpack on Dallin's back.

Weeping Rock

As you can see, we have been taking full advantage of the nifty backpack/carrier we got from aunt Terri for Christmas as well as the nice spring weather.  Gotta catch up on getting the Vitamin D our bodies were deprived of the last 4 months!

We hope all are getting some outside time and doing well.  Love ya'll!
