Caleb is 4 Months Old

Guys. This is crazy to think about. In many ways it feels like more than just 4 months ago that we were in the NICU or that Caleb has been apart of our family for only that long. In other ways, I have to squeeze him a little longer because he I know that time is going too fast. The saying, "The days are long, but the years are short," never rang so true!  Anyway, we are so proud of this little man and all he has done this past month.

Here is some of what he has been up to:

• Giggles, mostly late at night when he should be in bed

• Biggest smile that exudes joy from every bit of his body. Seriously. His hands come together, his legs come up, and this smile just bursts any cloud.

• Got to meet an ENT (Ears, Nose and Throat Doctor), had a sleep study, had a swallow study, and started Early Intervention with Joan. He is quite popular!

• Starting to roll from back to stomach

• Adores his big brother

• Talks and talks and talks. He has a lot to say.

• Loves to sing songs, especially "Skinamarinkeedinkeedink"

• Loves to play with his crazy ball, playmat and ball with holes. He screams when he drops them and can't find them again.

• Has all of us even more wrapped around his finger than he did last month

We sure do love you, baby Caleb. It feels you have been in our family forever. You belong here and we are so grateful you chose to be with us! 

A little fun fact about this month's little photo shoot is we did Luke's 4 month photos in the same little sweater! We took one picture of Caleb and even fooled Terri into thinking it was the original Luke photo.
