We Love...

SO many things. Especially pictures. The best way to sum up what has been going on is to share these pictures we love, followed by summaries of what has been happening.

First, MCCAMMON! Not only does Luke get beyond excited when he sees us packing the car then gets the answer "Grandma and grandpa's" when he asks "Where we goin'?" But, we also get to have carefree fun with grandma and grandpa. It has been so nice having them closer, further fueling my diabolical plan to get everyone to move within a 200 mile radius of us. Documented are two separate trips, equally fun.

Second, HIKING! We have been trying to explore the beauty in our own backyard with the numerous little hikes around us. Luke asks all the time to go hiking followed by, "I LOVE hiking, mama!" How can you argue with that? Caleb is happy as a clam to just hang out in the ergo.

We have decided Luke is the human version of Curious George to a Tee!

Bountiful Pond

BOOKS! It is not new, but Luke still loves books. Caleb likes to sit in on the stories too, swatting at all the colors on the pages. I won't complain. The book pictured below, Richard Scarry's "Cars and Trucks and Things That Go," is from sweet Katy and Kevin. Luke has it memorized and can find Goldbug on every page. He gets mad if I skip any words on the page.

We even read at meals sometimes

The unusually warm weather, but not too warm. Dallin and a few mission buddies have decided to try and get together a little Rugby scrimmage each week. Luke loves running around the park, attempting to throw and catch the giant Rugby balls and Caleb loves looking at the light shimmer in the leaves. Dallin loves reminiscing with this buddies about New Zealand. Its a win-win-win!

 Luke's imagination! Honestly, guys. He is quite a creative little dude. When he is not having his trucks tow each other out of the mud or building temples, he is climbing buildings, walking across tall beams and blasting off into outer space. This particular day, he was going to space and the snake was his rocket belt. Not sure of it's function, but he needed it to start his mission.

 Getting to know more about the Down Syndrome Community. We got to attend the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation Buddy Walk. It was pretty laid back and a good experience to meet other families with the extra chromosomes. That has been another favorite blessing, is meeting all of these wonderful people we normally would not have met. It is an instant connection and love that is formed and we love it!

Visitors! You all knew we love having visitors, so this one is not a big surprise. We have gotten to see Uncle Bubs again, Uncle Jason and Grandma.

And last, but certainly not least, SNOW CONES! We are a little obsessed and so very sad that snow cone season has come to an end. Until next year...

Luke always walks right up to the window and says, "I need a blue snow cone, please."

Kind of a whirlwind of catch up, but life is a little more exciting with two kiddos. We still love you all and hope everyone is enjoying the whispers of fall.
