Caleb is 2-Years-Old

Hooray for celebrating this little mischievous bug turning two-years-old! Sadly, he had his tonsils and adenoids out as well as a new set of ear tubes put in the day before, so we kept it pretty lowkey. However, that does not change the fact that we still gave him tons of hugs, kisses, ice cream and popsicles!

Caleb, you are such a light in our family. You sure like to get into things you shouldn't, as any 2-year-old should, but your little giggle and smile as you run off when you get caught is hard to get upset with. You love cars, books (well, a few including Where the Wild Things Are, Going on a Bear Hunt and Goodnight Gorilla), Luke, pulling dirty laundry out of every hamper in the house, shoes, dancing, popcorn, building towers and knocking them down with all your strength, balls and talking on the phone. Your hugs are magic and can make any day a thousand times better as you snuggly wrap your arms around the neck of the receiver and just melt into them. You love to tickle people and mimic everything your big brother does.

Happy birthday my little snug-bug. We promise we won't schedule surgery on your third birthday, but for now, know that we love you to the ends of the universe!
