Its the Final Countdown!

How far along: 36 1/2 weeks
Total weight gain: 29 lbs
How big is baby?  Size of a crenshaw melon-honestly, where do they come up with these comparisons?! About 20 inches long and 6 pounds.

Maternity clothes: Mostly dresses and skirts with no waist band at this point.
Sleep: On a pretty consistent schedule of 2 hours of sleep, bathroom trip, 2 hours, bathroom...etc.
Best moment of this week: Getting to hear Spud hiccup on the Doppler when Dr. Nielson was checking his heart rate.  That, along with hearing our little primary Sunbeams pray that he will come safely multiple times in class on Sunday.  Keep in mind they are 3-years-old.  So sweet.
Miss anything: Being able to sit through a movie or play.
Movement: Still lots and lots.
Food cravings: Nope
Gender: Boy
Labor signs: Not yet. But, we are in the clear to start having them without it being considered preterm!
Belly button in or out: Still both depending on where Spud is pushing out.
Wedding rings on or off: On and on
Happy or moody most of the time: Still pretty happy!  There are days when I will try to have the same energy level I used to have with the kiddos I work with and that takes it out of me, but for the most part I sometimes forget I am preggo until I try to bend over and the belly restricts me.
Looking forward to: Getting to put him in all his cute, I mean very studly and handsome, clothes we have been getting.

Dallin finished the dresser we got from his grandma Lehmitz and let me tell you, he did an amazing job!  Such a trooper for taking on that task.  He did get an electric sander out of the process which he was quite excited about.

Dallin was skeptical of my choice of grey stain, but I think it came out just how I hoped.  We have a pretty earthy theme going on in our bedroom, so this added just the right accent.
Close up after
For my birthday, Dallin put together a wonderful, pregnancy-safe, make your own sushi night.  This tradition started when two of our good friends out here were pregnant at the same time last year and wanted sushi.  We get quite creative with what we create!  Each person creates a roll, then names it, everyone tries and we all decide who came up with the best concoction.  Granted, I don't think we can officially call what we make sushi seeing as the only fish we really put in the rolls are fried shrimp or smoked salmon, but they are good nonetheless!
We had jalapeno's, grapes, mango, pineapple, carrot, cucumber, avocado, cream cheese, unagi sauce, sweet chili sauce, mandarins, spicy cream cheese, Sriracha sauce, teriyaki sauce, fried shrimp and of course seaweed and sticky rice.

Our upstairs neighbor used to work at the Utah Opera House which means as part of his retirement he gets season tickets to all the shows.  They were not able to go this month due to an illness, so they gave us their tickets.  It was a first for both of us and we really enjoyed the show!  We got to see the Barber of Seville, which was quite humerus and Dallin was pleasantly surprised when the song Figaro was one of the first ones sung.  Unfortunately, my pregnant body does not like to sit for long periods of time.  Therefore, we left at intermission because my legs and hips were so restless and the thought of sitting for another 90 minutes did not sound appealing in the least bit!  However, what we did see, we really enjoyed.

Other than a couple of amazing baby showers thrown by sweet friends out here in Utah, school and work, we are just enjoying the spring weather.  Dallin got our garden in yesterday, in the pouring rain.   Such dedication.  Just trying to stay busy so that these last 3 weeks do not drag on as I hear they can when you are just sitting around waiting.  Love you all!
This was a full rainbow just east of our house the other night.  Here is the end....
and here is the beginning
