The Chaos of November

First and foremost, we are not hobbits anymore! This past weekend, we moved out of the basement after 3.5 bittersweet years up to an ABOVE ground house, with a kitchen larger than 3 feet AND an actual bathtub AND the most wonderful, open to light windows in Bountiful. These are the little things that one is grateful for after using a storage bin to bathe a child as well as being incredibly savvy with how to cook with a forearm's length of counter space and living in near darkness for 3.5 years. Honestly, we were sad to leave the area and people we were surrounded by in Salt Lake, but are very excited for this change. Lukey  boy just runs around giggling with all the space he has.

So far, we have enjoyed our time in Bountiful. Out of the two restaurants we have patroned, we have been pleastently greeted by the owners with food that was pretty delicious. Bountiful is basically a  city that has still kept the small town feel. You can pretty much guarantee that at least three people will know each other when you go somewhere. We are known as "The house with the basement apartment," because not many basement apartments populate this area, which is crazy to us since pretty much every other house in Salt Lake has a basement apartment. We are enjoying getting to know our new little area.

Next, Dallin is officially done with school. Can we get a Hallelujah! I'm so proud of this man. Over the past 4 years, he has worked full time, attended school and dealt with us crazies, all while never complaining or outwardly showing frustration. He's pretty much Superman.

For Thanksgiving, Brad came down and we joined with our good friends, the Smathers, for a little turkey dinner. It was delicious, as well as low key. Just what the Dr. ordered.

Those major events pretty much took up all our time and energy in November. Next up, our California Christmas.

Love you all!
