Aerospace Museum and Auntie Lexi

A huge perk to living in Utah is that there are quite a few family friendly, affordable if not free, adventures to embark upon. We try to get out on Saturdays as a family to enjoy some of these attractions.

This particular weekend, we went up to the Airforce Base where they have a Aerospace Museum. Most of the airplanes are from WWII and the Vietnam War. The second Luke got out of the car we heard, "WHOA!! airPLANES!!" Guys, this kid is currently obsessed with all vehicles. That is not an understatement. He was completely in awe the entire time we were there. Well worth the 25 minute drive and free admission!

His face was more because we made him take a famelfie, not because of the airplanes
"Big helicopter!"
The next week, auntie Lexi made a last minute visit for her spring break. She was only here a couple of days, but those were a wonderful couple of days! We made a trip to the Hogle Zoo, where the weather was perfect, no crowds all thanks to going in the middle of the school day, and most of the animals were up and about. Simple perfection!
Sometimes you just have to bust a move!

Love how the polar bear is giving "The look"
The following pictures show proof of how much Spud loves his auntie Lexi. We thought he liked Brad the most, until Lexi came. The kid had to be holding her hand, know her whereabouts, only let her put him to bed and was so incredibly sad when she was gone. He just kept walking around lamenting, "Leeeexi? Leeexi? Lexi go?" It was heartbreaking. I guess it just means she will have to come back!
