27 Weeks and Anniversary Weekend

How far along: 27 weeks
Total weight gain: 15 lbs
How big is baby?  Size of a head of cauliflower, about 2 pounds
Maternity clothes: A few pants that my sweet boss has let me borrow but mostly just maxi dresses-so comfy!
Stretch marks: Not yet
Sleep: On and off, depending on the night
Best moment of this week: Not hearing from the Dr.'s office meaning I passed the glucose test!
Miss anything: The occasional Arnold Palmer...my guilty pleasure drink
Movement: Mostly at night, but he moves like a ninja when he does
Food cravings: Still just no sweets
Gender: Boy
Labor signs: Nope
Belly button in or out: Still in but has definitely stretched out a bit
Wedding rings on or off: On, not even getting snug yet
Happy or moody most of the time: Honestly, mostly happy.  I am excited to meet the little guy and grateful every day that everything is going smoothly
Looking forward to: Seeing his smushed little face when he comes out

Our anniversary weekend getaway to the Silver Moose Ranch Bed & Breakfast up in Park City was wonderful.  The house was this little cottage feeling like home with the sweetest owners.  They just moved out to Utah from Alabama to start their B&B, 15 months ago.  Funny story when Dallin was checking in.  He knocked on the door and their son opened the door and just stared at Dallin.  When Dallin told him we had a reservation, he just opened the door a little wider and pointed to the staircase to which Dallin descended and was greeted by a man with a scraggly beard limping towards him, who turned out to be the owner, very sweet man, that is recovering from a broken leg.  Dallin came to the car to get me and said, "If we were to be killed in a horror, film this would be the place."  Thankfully, the first impression was NOTHING like the rest of the stay.

The property.  They say in the summer moose come and play in the pond out front
We got settled into the Wasatch Room and then had dinner at Butcher's Chophouse.  Delicious!  We then had a cozy, quite large fire, in the open fireplace and played some Scrabble--Dallin ALMOST beat me!  Honestly, I won by one point.  Overall, the stay was very relaxing and nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Salt Lake.
Our delicious meal! Dallin got elk, I got halibut and we both shared some of the best calamari we have ever had
