You Might Be Pregnant If....

Aside from the protruding belly that wobbles and ripples from the moving baby inside, there are some other, often humorous, signs we have discovered that signify a woman might be pregnant.

So, you might be pregnant if:

Your sleeping space has transformed into a cage of pillows, providing support to make sleep even remotely plausible throughout the night.
This is our actual bed...
You husband gives a look of pure amusement every time you get up from a leaned back seated or lying down position due to the acrobats you felt you performed in achieving such a feat.

You do more squats throughout the day then you would in a good hour leg work-out just picking up things below waist level.

Your husband absently responds to a permanent reminder that goes off on your phone every two hours with, "I know, I know.  We will get food."

People in public places give you funny looks as you browse the bread section in the grocery store or clothing rack of Nordstrom Rack with no visible human being in your vacinty, stroking your protruding belly and saying things like, "Oh, hello there!"or "You are such a good little ninja today!"

In the event that something comes up that requires you to leave the house after you have gotten into your comfy clothes (or to be honest after taking your bra off the second you walk in the door), you must seriously consider if it is really worth putting on a bra and non-sweat pant clothing for.  I mean, a good 15-20 minute, if not more, thought process.

The question, "How are you feeling?" is asked AT LEAST ten times a day from multiple people using a tone of voice that sounds as if you have just ran three marathons, been hit by a semi-truck and fell in horse manure, all at once.

If you have children around, they fondle your whole frontal area (despite your persistent efforts to keep the attention on your belly) in an effort to figure out where the baby is and stops on your breasts with the statement, "OH! I found his head!" Which is then followed by a series of questions that no Child Development class prepped you to answer in a professional manner such as "How does the baby come out?" and "What are those if they are not his head?" and "Why can only mommies have babies?" And no, referring them to their parents does not suffice their need for immediate knowledge.

You look at other women doing things such as smoking, intense ab workouts, eating raw fish, skydiving and other pregnancy no-no's and gasp with the thought, "How are they doing that?!?!" until you realize that not every woman walking the earth is in your current situation of being pregnant.

As much as you try, you can not help but roll your eyes just a little when your husband complains about being sore or tired or having a slight cramp somewhere on his body.

An exercise ball has replaced most of the chairs you would normally sit on throughout the house.

The thought of having to sit in one position/place for more than 45 minutes causes a deep desire to avoid that situation at all costs, especially if there is no easy way to get out of the chair to access a bathroom.

Your shirt looks something close to this at the end of the day because somehow your growing belly has also turned into a magical food catcher.
Regardless, I am enjoying this little adventure and can't believe our little spud will be here in just over 10 weeks!  I may tear up a little with happiness at the end of every birth we watch in our birthing class when the baby finally comes out...not so true for Dallin as he watches...

Love you all!
