Green Family Reunion: "Its not what we have in life, but who we have in life that matters"

The first week of April, we met up with the Green clan in St. George for a family reunion. The house was perfect with a swimming pool right out the back. The first day, we settled in and went exploring in Pioneer Park. The kids had a blast climbing cliffs (look closely at some pictures to find Luke just hanging out at heights that make his mama bite her fingernails a little), exploring little caves and enjoying being with their aunts and uncles.

The next adventure included an ATV ride to a zipline across the red rocks. Being 34 weeks pregnant, I had to sit out this adventure due to being a liability to the company. Makes sense. While the rest of the family was adventuring, I enjoyed a book and quiet afternoon with quite a beautiful sunset. 

The others seemed to enjoy exploring the sand dunes. Luke and Caleb had a blast and couldn't stop talking about it. They didn't go down the zipline, but grandma was among the adults who did! 

The last outing was to Zion National Park. We stuck to smaller trails, while a few others hiked Angel's Landing. We went off the main trail for a little, which led us to having to rock hop down the river for a little. Luke is a pro rock hopper and thought it was the best trail, ever. I was impressed none of us fell in, including me with my off kilter balance due to the baby belly. The park is always gorgeous in all it's red rock glory and we enjoyed visiting again.

We shared one California King bed as a family, which felt super roomie compared to our queen that the boys usually sneak into every morning. Every night that Dallin and I would go to bed, we found the boys in a new snuggle position. Glad to see they can sleep well in the same bed if we ever need to downsize!

In between adventures, we enjoyed swimming, visiting, walks and food. The all abilities park was also on our agenda. It was neat to see all the equipment adapted to ensure all could enjoy, but the park itself if huge and was PACKED with people, which made letting the boys just run off and play a little stressful.
